Got home from work to find the cables on our garage door had snapped. From the time I called to the time it was fixed was less than 3 hours. James came out explained everything that needed to be fixed and took care of it very quickly. Extremely happy with the service we received.

My garage door quit working and I called Precision Garage Doors late in the afternoon on a Thursday fully expecting to get a computer but was very excited when a person answered the phone. I told the very sweet lady that answered the phone my problem and she was able to get a technician out the very next morning. The technician was James W and he called and said he could come a little earlier than the scheduled appointment. Once he got here he assessed the repairs needed and was very professional. I was surprised when he said he could make the repairs right then. A couple of hours later my garage door was repaired and worked better than it had ever worked!!! I will tell everyone I know what an excellent company Precision is!

James W arrived within 45 minutes of my call to Precision Doors, which was at 5:15pm. James quickly assessed the issue and had the springs, bearings, and end plates replaced in no time. James was very professional and courteous. This is the second time using Precision Doors and always received excellent service.

Very impressed...starting with the Sunday afternoon call when the garage door was hanging "a-kilter"... Called the Precision number, full well expecting to talk to a "machine", or having to leave a callback number--but impressed when a nice woman answered the call and proceeded to set up a service call for the very next day, first thing in the morning! Service technician James W. showed up exactly on time, and within the an hour the door was completely restored to "like new" condition! Five Stars for James W.!

Our service Precision tech was James. He called to let us know he was available earlier than our scheduled time if we wanted him to come then and so our story begins. He arrived almost immediately and was pleasant, polite, and his appearance showed he cared. We told him what we thought, and he smiled and told us what he knew it was within minutes. James then showed us and explained in easy-to-understand language what our problem was and how to fix it. He gave us options, then suggestions with cost to repair or replace. No pressure just honest this or that, our decision. We sure appreciated him.

We were able to get someone out the next morning and they identified and repaired the issue with our garage door very quickly! I was very, very impressed with many aspects of Precision's service. Their phone staff and our technician (James Wells) were fantastic. This was a last minute call on a Saturday. They fit us in with a time window of 6-8pm, and James arrived at 5:30. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was up front about the repair and cost. It was completed in around an hour, and it's never sounded better. However, after doing some research I'm not so sure about the cost. It was hundreds more than almost any estimate I found online for a similar job. The invoice lumped most of the expense together under 'PDS Overhaul', so I don't know the charge for individual parts, labor, etc. There's also a mysterious 'shop fee'. I'm not a big fan of the financial side, but everything else was amazing. Next time I need something, I'll definitely consider Precision - but I'll also be shopping around.

I called Precision to repair my garage door because I had used them before for my aunts garage door repair. I was impressed then and I am equally if not more impressed with their expediency of service, there quality of service and their customer service. I had James contact me before the scheduled time and he came out and was polite, attentive to what issues I described then showed me some other near future potential issues that we addressed today. I was very happy with everything but the cost, but with anything nowadays you get sticker shock. Thanks for fixing my issues and I would recommend to anyone needing garage door repairs.

Too soon to render a rating because of the following: 1. A torsion spring was installed on my garage door about twice the size of the one on the door when purchased! 2. Since this torsion spring was installed, I have not been able to get my garage door opener adjusted to operate up and down properly. When attempting to adjust the garage door up and down movement, my Chain and Idler Pulley were damaged and I am in the process of obtaining replacements to see if that will fix my problem or if I need to replace the torsion spring with the one specified in the manual for my garage door.

Precision is a great company. I had an issue with my garage door on Thursday, December 21st and was afraid I wouldn't be able to get anyone to come out so close to Christmas week-end. The lady I spoke with was very courteous and helpful. James came out Friday morning, determined my problem and fixed my garage door! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I think the repair was expensive but i had no choice. Either replace a rusty spring or risk possible injury or more expense at a later date. The repair man did an excellent job in a timely manner. I wish he could have had the weather stripping on his truck to finish the repair but I will do that myself at a later date. Suggestion to the company: start carrying the weather strips.

Office staff and technician were very friendly, helpful and professional; and when I called the office personnel set me up with an appointment for the next day, so it was great that we didn’t have to wait so long for an appointment. We needed a new box on the ceiling of the garage. The old one blew. I called on a Monday, and Precision scheduled us for the very next morning. James showed up on time. Called to let us know he was on his way. He explained what should be done as the current moving parts were 17yo. James was here a little over an hour or so. He was professional, no mess, explained everything before he left. Great experience. Thank you Precision Door.
