James Wells was excellent in representing your company - Precision. I received a text with his info and picture before he arrived. He called and advised he could be earlier than scheduled and was very professional in all of his dealings with me. He was polite, knowledgeable, and customer friendly in replacing the garage door opener. I used Precision Garage Door Service before and they were excellent. This time I was in trouble with a broken large garage door that would not close. The temperature was below freezing. The technician arrived after calling us. He got right to it and disassembled the door to be able to close it. I am buying a complete door from Reliable.

We have seen the Precision Door ads on TV and decided to call Precision Door and another Garage door company. We called Precision Door first. We were so taken by the friendliness of the receptionist that we did not call the other door company. They were able to schedule us for the veery same day for between 2PM and 4PM. They said that the technician would call when he was on his way. We got a phone call, and email and a text at 12:32 PM saying the James Wells was on his way. We needed the weather strip on the bottom of the door replaced. James replaced it, checked the door for operation and told us that the door needed to be lubricated. He showed us where and how the door needed to be lubricated and what to use. He told us this needed to be done every year. He did not pressure us to let him do it. He said that we could do it ourselves, but he would do it if we wanted him to do it. We are so satisfied with Precision Door that we will never call anyone else. We even told our neighbor that she has the same problem that we did, and she should call Precision Door.

My father was the original customer and since his passing a few months ago I’ve inherited the upkeep. I chose Precision based on their excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed. The receptionist was professional & kind. My appointment was scheduled for the next day, which was much sooner than I expected. The technician fixed my garage door (replacing the control panel) and reprogrammed my remote and car link. He was also very professional and explained everything he did to ensure I understood the issue.

The Service man came borrowed my car opener to use to open my husband's car and when they were finihed the service man gave me my door opener back. My husband's car opens and shuts everything great. Next day I left opening garage door from garage wall pulling out in my car and my garage door no longer works. Dave'scar work's fine.

We needed a new box on the ceiling of the garage. The old one blew. I called on a Monday, and Precision scheduled us for the very next morning. James showed up on time. Called to let us know he was on his way. He explained what should be done as the current moving parts were 17yo. James was here a little over an hour or so. Got home from work to find the cables on our garage door had snapped. From the time I called to the time it was fixed was less than 3 hours. James came out explained everything that needed to be fixed and took care of it very quickly. Extremely happy with the service we received.

My garage door quit working and I called Precision Garage Doors late in the afternoon on a Thursday fully expecting to get a computer but was very excited when a person answered the phone. I told the very sweet lady that answered the phone my problem and she was able to get a technician out the very next morning. The technician was James W and he called and said he could come a little earlier than the scheduled appointment. Once he got here he assessed the repairs needed and was very professional. I was surprised when he said he could make the repairs right then. A couple of hours later my garage door was repaired and worked better than it had ever worked!!! I will tell everyone I know what an excellent company Precision is!

James W arrived within 45 minutes of my call to Precision Doors, which was at 5:15pm. James quickly assessed the issue and had the springs, bearings, and end plates replaced in no time. James was very professional and courteous. This is the second time using Precision Doors and always received excellent service.

Very impressed...starting with the Sunday afternoon call when the garage door was hanging "a-kilter"... Called the Precision number, full well expecting to talk to a "machine", or having to leave a callback number--but impressed when a nice woman answered the call and proceeded to set up a service call for the very next day, first thing in the morning! Service technician James W. showed up exactly on time, and within the an hour the door was completely restored to "like new" condition! Five Stars for James W.!

Our service Precision tech was James. He called to let us know he was available earlier than our scheduled time if we wanted him to come then and so our story begins. He arrived almost immediately and was pleasant, polite, and his appearance showed he cared. We told him what we thought, and he smiled and told us what he knew it was within minutes. James then showed us and explained in easy-to-understand language what our problem was and how to fix it. He gave us options, then suggestions with cost to repair or replace. No pressure just honest this or that, our decision. We sure appreciated him.

I was very, very impressed with many aspects of Precision's service. Their phone staff and our technician (James Wells) were fantastic. This was a last minute call on a Saturday. They fit us in with a time window of 6-8pm, and James arrived at 5:30. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was up front about the repair and cost. It was completed in around an hour, and it's never sounded better. However, after doing some research I'm not so sure about the cost. It was hundreds more than almost any estimate I found online for a similar job. The invoice lumped most of the expense together under 'PDS Overhaul', so I don't know the charge for individual parts, labor, etc. There's also a mysterious 'shop fee'. I'm not a big fan of the financial side, but everything else was amazing. Next time I need something, I'll definitely consider Precision - but I'll also be shopping around.

I called Precision to repair my garage door because I had used them before for my aunts garage door repair. I was impressed then and I am equally if not more impressed with their expediency of service, there quality of service and their customer service. I had James contact me before the scheduled time and he came out and was polite, attentive to what issues I described then showed me some other near future potential issues that we addressed today. I was very happy with everything but the cost, but with anything nowadays you get sticker shock. Thanks for fixing my issues and I would recommend to anyone needing garage door repairs.

Too soon to render a rating because of the following: 1. A torsion spring was installed on my garage door about twice the size of the one on the door when purchased! 2. Since this torsion spring was installed, I have not been able to get my garage door opener adjusted to operate up and down properly. When attempting to adjust the garage door up and down movement, my Chain and Idler Pulley were damaged and I am in the process of obtaining replacements to see if that will fix my problem or if I need to replace the torsion spring with the one specified in the manual for my garage door.

Lightning struck the house Fri night in the storm that swept through the area. Decided to wait til Monday to call a door company after I discovered I couldn’t fix it! A nephew Adam Nelson had me call you last year for my elderly neighbor I look after to install a garage door opener. You all were so nice to help Mr Curtis Bell with his door I just called you for my needs. Madison was so nice taking my call and had a tech named James that was available and came within the hour. James was clean cut neat and very professional and skilled in the art of garage door installation. I appreciate your service and technician and will recommend your company to others.
