We called on Sunday morning because our garage door stopped working. Mike, the service technician, arrived shortly after noon the same day. He quickly and efficiently repaired our door. He was both friendly and professional. We wish every person who we have do work in and around our house was this good! Our door now not only works, but operates much more quietly than it did before. So far, not good. Maybe after calling customer service tomorrow I can change my review. I’m not one to leave reviews so the fact that I am should speak for itself. The sales expert who came out to evaluate my issue first of all was scheduled for a 3-5 p.m. appointment. He called me at 4:40 saying “I’m an hour away, you still me to come out?” His attitude on the phone was less than good. He seemed frustrated that I did in fact want to keep my appointment. When he arrived to my home an hour later he called apparently frustrated that I had other people at my home doing work on a totally separate issue & he couldn’t park his car in my driveway. Mind you, my personal vehicle was parked in the road in-front of my driveway as well. Wasn’t sure what the big deal was with that. His apparent attitude carried over for the entirety of the appointment,regardless of the fact that I was still trying to be kind and professional with him. He was sent out because my spring broke after a completely new, top to bottom install of my garage door, motor, track, bearings, spring- the whole shabang just short 3 years ago. I was given completely conflicting information regarding warranties from what I was told on the phone the day before when I called to set the appointment. I was priced an outrageous amount for the replacement of a part that should HAVE NEVER BROKE in just three years. He told me that i probably just opened my garage door too much. Which is just confusing all around to me. Then to top it off he tells me “I can replace all the parts for you today for $800.00 and that will give you a lifetime warranty”- I’m just sitting here wondering if for $800 today he can give me a lifetime then why 3 years ago when I paid $1800+ for the whole dang thing was this “generous offer” not given to me? I simply couldn’t bare the thought of agreeing to do any business with this man so before I sent him on his way I asked “so all that’s wrong with my garage door is the spring? You don’t see any other issues?” He says that’s correct. Just got my email from this oh so kind sales “expert” where he has marked 5 issues that were “failed” on my system in his opinion. I guess he just FAILED to mention those things to me when I asked very specifically. Totally and completely unsatisfied and will no longer be telling my family and friends to use precision for their garage door needs.

Great Job Guys! I called a to be unnamed other garage door company first, they took my into and said some would call me back to schedule fixing my garage door. After about a half hour I called Precision, appointment was scheduled for 3 that afternoon. Great! After an hour or two Patrick calls me and says he finished his job early can he come over early. Heck Yeah! Well he was here at the earlier time, gave me a quote and we were all finished about an hour later. How great is that? The only thing that could have been better is if the wife thanked me, but you can't hope for miracles. BTW that unnamed company (Farmer) has yet to call me.

We lived with a poorly installed doors that were done for our custom home for years. We finally had enough with the noise and remotes that could not control the doors. We called Precision and within an hour we had a seasoned tech on scene and diagnosed several problems that collectively caused us problems. The geometry of the track system was made true, all parts were inspected. Because of safety requirements, the springs had to be replaced. We also needed new rollers and the improperly installed sensors were swapped, failing sensors were replaced and solutions for under guage steel tracks were found. We have quiet operation for the first time in years. Thank you precision for quality and quick work. We were pleasantly surprised by the 5-yr warranty - we took the lifetime warranty.

I called at a little past 3PM to see if I could get someone to fix my door which had stopped working. I was expecting that I would probably have to wait until at least tomorrow of pay an after-hours fee. I was surprised that they told me that someone would be here between 4 and 6 PM today. Within a few minutes after arriving, your tech. solved my problem and gave me a price for the repairs. I saw that the price was reasonable, and the work began. By about 6PM the work was done. I am very pleased and with definitely recommend you to my friends and neighbors. Thanks.

While he did a good job, got here on time, and did the work quickly and efficiently, I thought it was overpriced. $690 for one door spring, bearings, cables, and rollers, which I don't think I really needed, but to get the warranty, you have to get it all done. (It was $550 just for a new spring and installation, which is what I really needed, and to me that is too high). He was here less than 1 hour. I felt they tried to upcharge me to get me to spend more money. Like the extra parts that I don't think I needed then he also wanted an extra $100 for extra warranty. Otherwise I'd have given them five stars.

I have used Precision before. So, when our garage door would not open over the weekend, I called them for help. Patrick arrived on time on Monday & discovered the door opener had a broken belt. After discussing options, it was decided to simply replace the belt on the opener. Patrick was prompt, courteous & did a great job! Just want to say thank you to Precision and Patrick for coming out on short notice and getting my door up and running again. Its had a rough life and Patrick was able to not only come out and get the broken parts fixed and moving again, but also reinforced the door and made it better than it has been since I have lived here for 4 years.
