Patrick called prior and arrived on time. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He assessed the broken spring issue and gave several choices for repair. He explained clearly the value of each choice and the short and long term advantages. He anticipated our needs and met them. We decided on a single spring system. He installed it, did minor repair on the door and confirmed that the door opened and closed smoothly and quietly. Cost was within our budget. We highly recommend using PDS and ask for Patrick!

James Wells provided an estimate for replacement of both garage doors and evaluated the performance of both garage door openers which we believed needed replacing also. James's honesty and professionalism was outstanding as he indicated our openers were working properly but the doors (the previous homeowner had backed his car into them) needed replacing because they were bent putting too much stress on the opener while attempting to open and lift. The springs were also not balanced properly and needed replacing.

My technician was very courteous and seemed to really know his job. He was very professional. His name was James and he wore a uniform and drove a marked vehicle. He worked on my existing door and replaced door opener. My door is so quiet now and before it sounded like a freight train. He also installed a keypad on the outside. I am very pleased with my experience.

Went with your company because you were the one American Home Warranty chose. Technician did a good job. I have a problem with AHW because your tech said they only allow repair of broken parts. When I read my contract it says they should allow for repair if tech thinks it could be affecting the opener. All they want to do is patch stuff and not correct it if something is not done right to begin with. I am very happy with your tech and your company just not AHW. Thanks.

The door works smoothly and is attractive. The workmen were polite and efficient. About three weeks after installation the door started making noises when operated and moved roughly. A shiny new bolt and nut were found on the garage floor. When called, the workmen reappeared promptly and fixed the problem quickly. I am somewhat aghast that the loss of one bolt could cause such drastic mis-operation. I wonder also why that bolt was not tightened initially.

Tommy fixed our garage door. He did an excellent job. However I do have two comments. First, he was to send us the warranty for our records. We have not yet received those. Second based on the response (by phone) to our description of the problem, the person gave us an estimate to fix the problem of $175. Yet when Tommy came he indicated that the cost would be about $300.00. We then decided to go to a torsional spring system (based on Tommy's recommendation) and that total cost was $500.00. You can see tha we did have some hesitancy to go ahead with the repair. We will be looking forward to receiving the written warranty.

Kyle, the original installer did a great job & was very interested in a "satisfied customer." At the time of the install Kyle was training another individual so Kyle worked on one door & the "trainee" worked on the other.....after a few days it became obvious that the opener Kyle had install was flawless, however, we called & asked the he come back & make the other door the same as there were several issues that had been overlooked by the trainee which Kyle corrected ...always very friendly & professional & courteous despite him having to return. Today, Tommy came out to, once again, address an issue that the "trainee" had overlooked..(the bolt that held the support arm to the drive shaft was missing...in truth I could have fixed the problem, but thought since there had been other issues with this particular door it might be prudent to allow a tech to address). Tommy was also courteous. polite, (despite this heat wave) & appreciative for our business.

My garage door spring broke and I had to wait 2 months to get it fixed due to financial situation. I realized there were other things that I needed fixed but my finances did not permit it. I really felt a lot of pressure to get other things repaired and the quote I received over the phone suddenly went from $225.00 to over $700.00. I was not in a position to do the extra things, I feel it's Ok to assess your repairs, but not ok to pressure people to get it done. I plainly stated when the repairman came that I did not want anything extra done. I felt uncomfortable with the situation. The replacement of my garage door springs was an excellent job and the repairman was very professional and did a good job. Please train your repairmen not to pressure people when they are getting a repair done.

The telephone receptionist, Christine, was very helpful and asked very specific questions that showed she knows doors! I was pleased that your repairman was NOT cover with tattoos and rings in his nose. (Yes, I am old.) James was very competent, friendly and prompt. He fixed the door twice as fast as I thought it would take. I was thrilled that he could save the original door!
