I found your listing in Mint Magazine, and as I had been out of town and had no one else to help, I called your number. When the repairman came I explained I needed for the door to open and close and it wouldn't and I was fairly certain it wasn't too bad because the same thing had happened to my husband and he fixed it very easily. Your repairman Patrick Stockton, told me the emergency cord had been released so that the door could be opened if the electricity went out. He put the cord back in position and the door immediately opened and shut with the electric opener. He said that since he was here and there was a $65 service charge he would look the door over and inspect and tell me what he found. After his inspection he told me he had found frayed wire, pulleys that needed replacement I asked how much he said $523.00 with the discounts allowed. I told him I wanted to talk with my sons and his immediate response was "You don't trust me?" I felt a bit intimidated and told him to go ahead. While he was working I went on line and did some research. I could have had a new Genie installed for less that this repair bill. I feel like I was taken advantage of and am extremely disappointed in your company. I have to take responsibility for this since I gave permission for the repair, but I have learned a valuable lesson. I will go with my gut feeling from now on and not be intimidated by anyone.

Precision Doors and Patrick Stockton are amazing. They were on time, communicated in a very timely manner, professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They saved me an enormous amount of money by rebuilding the existing doors and selling me the proper system for the house. Precision came out on a Saturday afternoon after the spring on our garage door broke. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they provided service on Saturday for no additional charge so it was a no brainer for me. Precision sent an email to confirm my appointment and also with a name and picture of the tech that would be coming out. When James got here, he saw the spring and also recommended a few additional things that might need servicing. We decided to just replace the springs and not do the additional servicing. James wasn't pushy at all about getting the extra work done, provided some tips to help maintain our door, and was very professional. He was in and out within 45 minutes and we had a working garage door again. Thank you!

Although I was not particularly happy with the cost of my repair, as opposed to purchasing a whole new garage door opener, I was delighted with the efficiency and completeness of repair performed by Service Technician Thomas. He knew his job and did it very well.

The central rail that my garage door slides up and down on had come unbolted from its mounting bracket on the garage frame and I couldn't get it realigned to bolt it back together myself, so I was worried that I had some major damage and would be hit with some costly repairs. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when the service technician was able to realign and bolt together the rail and bracket assembly himself. He then lubricated all of my rollers and the central spring and made some adjustment to the rails and now my garage door sounds infinitely better. The technician Luis was friendly and courteous and understood what I needed right away and also gave me some recommendations for better taking care of my garage door. I was also pleased that he didn't try to sell me on expensive parts that I didn't need and he even showed up early and was done quickly, so I didn't have to spend my entire appointment window waiting around. I don't think I could ask for a better experience.

I was in need of a new garage door and Precision Door came highly recommended to me by a friend. My door was broken therefore I could not use it. They sent Thomas out to show me the options that I had available to me. I was apprehensive with my choice but Thomas took a picture of my house and put my new door in the picture and that sold me on the door. Charles and Dylan did a great job installing it and my new door has changed the appearance of my home dramatically! I give you two stars for being on time and calling ahead. I paid $49 for your guy to spend 7 min and 47 seconds...yep I timed him, actually working on my garage door. When basically all he did was take a can of WD40 or silicon spray and lube the the flexible hinges. Sure am glad I didn't pay more or pay for a service call.

The $49 special that you purchase included the following: 25 Point Safety Inspection, Tune-Up, and Service Fee which is normally a total of $114.95 (a savings of $65.95). Unfortunately, we are unable to include necessary parts for that price. The $49 often times does not cover the fuel, lubrication, or the technicians time and labor. We hope that with the information given that you have a better understanding of our pricing. I have addressed the technician regarding the length of time that it took to evaluate and lubricate your garage door to ensure that a more comprehensive and thorough evaluation is performed in the future.
