Called Precision on Thursday afternoon after our garage door stopped working and they were able to send a technician out the next morning! I called this morning, they scheduled a same day service call, they arrived on time, fixed the problem, and charged me a reasonable price. I'm not sure what else one could want. I give them a 6 star rating.

Whoever does the email correspondence and/or sets up the appointments should be honest and forthcoming. I had to ask 3 times how much a diagnosis fee was. 49.95, but was assured the technician does a 25 point inspection so I felt relieved that my money would be earned properly. The owner of this company should ask what model garage door opener i have because the technician arrived, took one look, and stated, oh we cannot get parts for that brand. Then he proceeds to open the door and tell me that it's too heavy, the spring is worn and that i need a new opener. I was upset that he didn't even touch the opener to press a single button. Even if it was a temporary fix, he should have tried to service the machine and get it functional. Instead, he refused and apologized that I wasn't happy with his findings. I said I'm just unhappy with the whole situation. I should have been asked what brand my model is to avoid wasting my time and money if you only carry specific parts. Also, he should have tried to diagnose the actual opener to see for himself what it was doing.

PRESTON WAS A VERY PROFESSIONAL YOUNG MAN WHO REPRESENTED YOUR COMPANY VERY WELL! HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME IN A WAY THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND IT. HE LAID EVERYTHING OUT AND FIXED THE DOOR AND THEN CLEANED UP BEHIND HIMSELF AND DID A GREAT JOB!

Though we've had very good experiences with Precision in the past, our experience yesterday was only mediocre and left us somewhat disappointed. We had a technician come out because our keypad had stopped working and wouldn't allow us to reprogram it with a new code. We had to have a whole new keypad installed, and when we expressed interest in going through the process of setting the code for ourselves and practicing that process, the technician didn't seem interested in helping us do that and essentially said to not change anything. We hoped for a better experience but didn't receive it.

We weren’t thrilled about our broken cable, which was installed by Precision in 2019. The warranty had expired but we had paid a lot to have the job done. Preston addressed the issue and got to work. He was very friendly and also highly competent. He even went out on his own time to repair a wood block that had cracked. We feel much better about Precision due to Preston’s visit.
