We called Precision as they have provided us with services before. They scheduled us for same week, gave us an estimated time frame of arrival. Young man called us on scheduled day and asked if he could come earlier as was in the neighborhood. Of course we said yes! Came early, adjusted with little problems, and left within a half hour. Price, convenience, and installation were EXCEPTIONAL!! Scheduling was very easy with multiple times available, the price and convenience speak for themselves, and the installer (Preston) was outstanding in every way: professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. Upon completion, he showed me proper operation/maintenance of the refurbished hardware and answered the few questions I had. This is the second time I have used Precision Door Service because they know what they are doing professionally. Quick response and thorough repair. Spring broke on a Saturday afternoon with our cars trapped inside. Preston came out within hours. He had the parts needed and was able to repair the door that day. We are very pleased with the quick response we received. When I called I was told a technician would be out between 12-2:00 the same day I called. We were expecting to have to wait at least a couple of days. Our technician, Preston Stockton called & gave us an expected arrival time of 11:30. He was right on time. He was very professional. He was able to diagnose our problem & gave us an estimate to replace our garage door motor. He gave us an estimated completion time of 2 hours. He finished right on time & we are extremely pleased with the service we received.

The keypad garage door opener had stopped working and didn't work even with new batteries. I called Precision because I have used them before. The technician came the very day I called, quickly identified the problem (the keypad opener had gone bad), and installed a new opener. He was very pleasant and took less than fifteen minutes.

Yesterday my garage door spring snapped. I googled for "the best garage door repair service in Knoxville", which came up Precision Door. This morning Preston came out and diagnosed the problem. Since my door opener was old I elected to replace it too. Preston was very professional, knowledgeable and informative. He is also very talented and quickly replaced all the damaged springs and cables and installed the new opener without any issues. I was impressed that he had all necessary hardware and parts on his truck as well as all tools to complete the job. I highly recommend Precision Door and especially Preston for any and all garage door problems. Thank you for a job well done!

I called this company and asked the cost for 2 springs, I was told 364$ out the door or 225$ for 1 spring. Tech comes says its 225 for 1 and doesn't do a deal for 2. After going back and forth he honors the 364$ rate ONLY to tell me I need to replace 2 things bringing the total now to 685. Says he can't replace springs till a bracket and pole is replaced. Such a scam. I paid for it but will not recommend this company. My husband had to beg for a damn warranty. Unbelievable. The tech was barely 20 years old, so I know it's not entirely on him and he has a job to do however his "bosses" and leadership and overall ethics of this company are terrible.

I used Precision when I lived in Fort Myers, Florida. I got great service there in the Sunshine State. So when my GD would not close properly here in Knoxville, I called them, and came out at my own schedule, and did all they could to check its programming and etc. I had to have a new Motor installed, as the other was a 2005, and decided it did not want to work. I had great Techs, and worked fast, explained how to use my upgraded Door remote and all its features. My Cost was 773.00.

Precision sent a very young tech out who told me because my garage door had an older spring type mechanism that it could not be repaired and the only thing they could do would be to replace it with a torsion style opener. I declined and he charged me $49.99 for the house call. I then called a different company and their tech brought a new spring kit, changed out both springs and all pulleys, greased, oiled, and adjusted the door and charged me half of what Precision had quoted. He also told me that there was not enough head space above my door to install a torsion system. The only reason i'm giving one star is that there is nothing lower. It's a shame that I was charged for no service.
