I called Presision Garage Doors at 12:30 PM on a Friday afternoon because my garage door jammed and would not open. I received a same day appointment that James would arrive between 1:30-3:30PM. James was there within 45 minutes and repaired and rebuilt the door. James installed new springs, rollers, cables, brackets and rollers. The garage has never worked better. Within 2 hours my garage door was repaired with a 5 year warranty.

Wow!!! We called Precision Garage Door on Friday morning of 9/3/20, and were schedule for service 3 to 5 pm same day. At 3pm service tech Josh arrived. After reviewing our request to replace rubber seals, align and lubricate 2 garage doors, he began work. Josh was very courteous and did excellent work. Be sure to ask “what else might I need due to the age of my door?” because the technician clearly knew that based on the age of the house that I was gonna require more than the $255 repair I was quoted. And I was told on the phone by Thomas that if they’d quoted me the $500, I wouldn’t have had them out for the repair. Hmmmmm. Clearly the plan was to get the job with a low quote and then upcharge you for what the believe you’ll need. The repair itself is satisfactory but twice as much as the original quote. Did I need the extra work done? I have no idea. Based on the age of the door, it is possible but folks should know on the front end that the likelihood of only paying $255 is pretty slim.

He also inspected the second garage door and found some safety problems that needed addressed right away. There are so many variations of garage doors. But once we narrowed it down and finally chose our door, we are extremely happy. The only issue we had was after install, the moving parts were not lubricated so the system wasn't as quiet. A call to investigate quickly identified and resolved the problem. Excellent door.

Motor, springs, motherboard, rail, gears, everything but the door itself needed replacement after 14 years. Operation was a safety hazard. James described the options, warranty and price. Admittedly, replacement was expensive (~$K) but needed. Took only about 2 hours. Technician knew the system and how to install.
