Motor, springs, motherboard, rail, gears, everything but the door itself needed replacement after 14 years. Operation was a safety hazard. James described the options, warranty and price. Admittedly, replacement was expensive (~$K) but needed. Took only about 2 hours. Technician knew the system and how to install.

after checking parts cost online I was surprised at the cost I was charged. james wells quoted me $698 for a door rebuild. I agreed thinking the part were expensive. I could have got the parts online for $250. he worked for approx. one hour. if you do a 100% mark up on parts cost, his labor was $198 per hour. I know I agreed but I should at least have a statement showing the cost of the items. the statement he gave me on line shows $00. cost of each item. he did very good work, and was very courteous, a very pleasant person.

Our door was a mess even though it was only 3 years old! When James arrived he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it and upgrade the door to where it should have been with the original installer. My garage was 10 years old, and was in bad need of repair. My serviceman, James was very prompt (early really) and very friendly, putting me at ease. He assessed the problems very quickly and offered me a range of choices. I chose to keep the door but he replaced all the moving parts and fixed my opener also better than it was before the problem.
