We lived with a poorly installed doors that were done for our custom home for years. We finally had enough with the noise and remotes that could not control the doors. We called Precision and within an hour we had a seasoned tech on scene and diagnosed several problems that collectively caused us problems. The geometry of the track system was made true, all parts were inspected. Because of safety requirements, the springs had to be replaced. We also needed new rollers and the improperly installed sensors were swapped, failing sensors were replaced and solutions for under guage steel tracks were found. We have quiet operation for the first time in years. Thank you precision for quality and quick work. We were pleasantly surprised by the 5-yr warranty - we took the lifetime warranty.

Contacted Precision for garage door repair scheduling and they were able to get on it same day within just a couple hours. Tech also was able to arrive early. Michael Hall assessed the obvious mechanical hardware failure and pointed out sign of long wear on lesser components. He showed the price of parts and also a packaged deal for parts and labor offering immediate repairs yet on a Sunday afternoon beginning with getting door back up to liberate entrapped vehicles in garage. And completed a major door hardware refurb on Sunday afternoon within a short time on site and at the quoted estimated price. Cleaned up and left no sign of having been there except for the installed hardware now in place.

Alex was great in giving me advice on repairing my two garage doors. Alex replaced the old springs which always worried me about breaking and damaging the paint on my two Nissans. One side of the garage had a old door opener and the other was manually opened. The doors weighed quite a bit, too. Under Alex's advice, he suggested installing torsion bars to make it easier to open. Doing that sure helps me out and less pain on my back. I will stay with Precision since because the doors were repaired and a new opener installed the day I first called them. Other door companies said it would be a week before they could come. So Precision in my book is #1!

Mike came out a few hours after I called the main office to replace our garage door's lift springs. He also replaced 2 outer drive bearings and added a center bearing @the lift point. I have long been concerned that the weight of the door twisted the guide tracks, stressing and at least once, breaking the bolts supporting the tracks. He explained that the door frame, not the track, flexed thus allowing the tracks to twist. He addressed this by reinforcing the outer door frame to stiffen it @the track rollers. He also replaced stripped screws throughout the door frame and lubricated all the pivot points.

My garage door came off its track and got jammed late on a Saturday night. I called them and they had someone at my house the next morning. Had a garage door opener installed by Michael Hall and he was very professional. Made sure everything was operating correctly. Minor issue up front as the appointment time was missed by 3 hours and I had to call in a few times to see where the service person was and on the last call I was told the appointment was cancelled. After a few minutes this error was corrected and Michael arrived about 15 minutes late which was appreciated. Original quote was $538 installed and ended up $600 when done, but everything is working now.
