I am very happy with the quality of the installation, the installer and the quality operation of the equipment. However, after seeing the invoice via email I have questions on the cost. I was told if I had the work done that the service call would not be charged. Looking at the receipt there is a charge of $75.00 for the service call but a credit of $65.00 for a waved service fee. Were is the $10.00 difference and whats the difference between a service call and a service fee ? The owner shown be show a written copy of the estimate before the work is done in lieu of after and via email. Again the installer was very professional with a quality installation and equipment. I am very happy with the job except for the difinition in the service call and service fee , the $10.00 difference and the presentation of a written estimate prior to the work being done. Patrick called prior and arrived on time. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He assessed the broken spring issue and gave several choices for repair. He explained clearly the value of each choice and the short and long term advantages. He anticipated our needs and met them. We decided on a single spring system. He installed it, did minor repair on the door and confirmed that the door opened and closed smoothly and quietly. Cost was within our budget. We highly recommend using PDS and ask for Patrick!

Went with your company because you were the one American Home Warranty chose. Technician did a good job. I have a problem with AHW because your tech said they only allow repair of broken parts. When I read my contract it says they should allow for repair if tech thinks it could be affecting the opener. All they want to do is patch stuff and not correct it if something is not done right to begin with. I am very happy with your tech and your company just not AHW. Thanks.

My garage door spring broke and I had to wait 2 months to get it fixed due to financial situation. I realized there were other things that I needed fixed but my finances did not permit it. I really felt a lot of pressure to get other things repaired and the quote I received over the phone suddenly went from $225.00 to over $700.00. I was not in a position to do the extra things, I feel it's Ok to assess your repairs, but not ok to pressure people to get it done. I plainly stated when the repairman came that I did not want anything extra done. I felt uncomfortable with the situation. The replacement of my garage door springs was an excellent job and the repairman was very professional and did a good job. Please train your repairmen not to pressure people when they are getting a repair done.

Pat, the serviceman arrived on time the day I called to have my broken door spring replaced. He was able to lift my 18" steel garage door (VERY HEAVY!) sufficiently to allow my car to be removed and room for him to work. He Identified several cracked/broken hinges that needed to be replaced as well as the fact that a previous owner had replaced the two factory springs with a single spring. He installed a packaged overhaul kit which replaced all of the cables, cable drums, mounting brackets, rail rollers and the correct springs. Pat appeared to be very knowledgeable about garage doors and was able to answer all my pesky questions. While the cost of the overhaul was not cheap; considering the 5-year warranty on the work, it probably represents a fair value.

I had a single spring, double door spring break about an hour after closing door (heard a big bang in garage). I had used PDS several years ago on my mom's door. I got service within the hour of my 6pm call Monday; technician evaluated my 14 yr old door and suggested two spring counterbalance set up along with new rollers and , bearing plates, etc. Although a little pricey, I did get a discount off service call and considering I got emergency service within an hour plus a warranty on work done for 3-5 years, I am hoping that I will go another 14 years without any major door issues. Patrick adjusted door and checked opener operation before leaving; I also appreciate the fact that he answered all my questions and concerns in a professional matter. Thanks for the prompt service.

5 stars Patrick came to inspect our garage doors and gave us three options for improving existing doors or replacing them. He was pleasant, punctual, very informative, and no pressure. We chose replacing our garage doors. Dylan and Charles replaced the doors. They were also very pleasant, punctual, and did an excellent job. I appreciated the professionalism, the ability to read about each service person and view their pictures before they arrived, and their desire to be sure we were pleased with the service.
