I chose Precision because the company I bought my door from (Farmer garage door company) 10 years ago, did not service doors on weekends (no one would answer my phone messages from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning). The spring system that came with my door broke and wouldn't allow me to open the door. Without hesitating, the Precision technician said he would need to replace the entire spring system. I was shocked to hear his estimate came to $698. Number one, the material should not have cost more than $300, and the labor for 1.5 man hours @ $100 per hour would have been $150, total for parts and labor = $450, a much more tolerable total cost.

I can't say enough about how great our experience was! I called at 11am just hoping to get an appointment for this week (it is Wednesday). They were at our house by 12:30 or so, fixed everything, and were gone by 3pm. Both employees were super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Will definitely use Precision again if we need anything garage door related!

I called Precision because I had used them previously and was very pleased with their work. The doors vibrated very badly (30 years old). Patrick quickly assessed the problem and recommended changing out all moving parts. He overhauled both doors in a couple of hours. Now they operate very smoothly and quietly. I had light coming under my garage door when it was closed. I checked the Mint Magazine to see if there was a coupon to use for garage door repair. I called Precision Door Service and they were so nice, came out within an hour's time, checked my door and found it needed repairs, did them then and was all done within a short amount of time. We called Precision Door around noon when we found our garage door spring was broken. They had a truck out to our house 2 hours later. Our service tech was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He looked at the broken spring and identified other problems that probably contributed to the spring failure, like bad roller wheels, friction and other issues. He quoted a fair price, fixed everything he said he would and did a great job. I would highly recommend Precision Doors for any garage door repairs needed.

I called at 7 a.m. Customer rep. took my info and advised someone would be out between 9 and 11. Patrick called at 8:10 and stated he would arrive at 9. He and his teammate arrived almost exactly and 9 and replaced all the hardware and the opener on my 14 year old system were finished by 11. I've never heard an opener so quite. Prompt courteous service.

$600 to replace a broken Spring seems extremely high, even with the new cables and rollers. I appreciate the quick response on the day before Thanksgiving, but I've been told I most likely paid twice as much as I should have. Would also expect a Service Technician to wear a mask to my home in this time of a pandemic, which he did not. The work was done in a timely manner and seems to be of good quality, and I was quoted a price before work was performed, however I felt I was in a no win situation since other repair companies were scheduled out for up to a week and I had to have something done right away.

So impressed with the service from Precision! I called and they sent a tech out within 2hrs. Patrick, the service tech, called on his way and was 10mins early in the window so no waiting around.
