I highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to anyone in the Knoxville area. My 13-year-old opener was failing and had become unreliable. I decided to replace it rather than repair. I contacted Precision and in less than two hours Josh (technician) arrived. In a little over an hour he had finished installing the new opener, backup battery, remote, and outside keypad, and two remotes. He also showed me how to program the keypad and my car's Homelink remote. His work was very professional and there was no mess to clean up when he finished.

Loved our expierence! Called early in the day and they were able to fit us in the same day. They gave us a 2 hour window, and made it out before the window. We anticipated that they would give us an estimate and then have to order the parts. But no, when Josh (who was friendly, professional, and fast) arrived he was able to diagnose the problem quickly and had all that he needed to fix the problem with him. He did the job and was gone before the end of our arrival window! Great company would definatly use them again!

I chose your service because you had offices in Maryville where I live. I had as well read some of the reviews which seemed positive toward service satisfaction. My gatage door would not go up and down as it should so when Josh got here he noticed the problem but also noticed that the other garage door had frayed cables that could cause a serious accident. Instead of just performing a quick short-term fix, Josh correctly diagnosed the full issue and rebuilt the garage door mechanics within an hour or so. Went to open door this morning and it would not open due to broken spring. Called Precision and Josh showed up at my home in less than an hour. Forty minutes later the spring was replaced and I was able to get to my appointments on time. They went out of their way for a customer that had never used them before and you can’t ask for anything better than that. Great service and competitive pricing.

I called Precision after seeing their excellent reviews online for a broken spring on a 16 year old door. They gave me a same day appointment and actually called to say they could do repair 2.5 hours earlier than promised! The service technician, Josh Compton, fully explained that he could just replace the springs (both sides recommended) and provided the cost. He took the time to show me exactly where the other issues were on the door such as wear and tear on bearings, rollers, and cables. Josh was very informative, knowledgeable, and professional and never tried to upsell me on a complete door overhaul. After seeing the deterioration of various parts, I decided to have all components replaced and Josh spent close to two hours overhauling my existing door all the while explaining what he was doing and why along the way. I feel confident that Precision of Knoxville was the right place to call. In addition, their 5 year warranty on the parts and labor just added to my customer satisfaction level.
