I have used Precision Garage Door Service of Knoxville for all my door needs for about three years now. All their technicians are professional, courteous, and competent. Derrick, my tech today, did a great job installing new motors on both my garage doors. He answered all my questions, did the installation in a timely manner, and left my garage in immaculate condition when he finished. I always recommend Precision to my friends and family. Garage door would not open. Called 2 other companies before Precision. One didn't answer and the other was too busy to come that day. Then called Precision and was given a time frame as to when the technician would be at my home. Was then called later to say the technician was held up but would be there asap. Then Preston the technician called to say he was on the way, and he got there in the promised time frame. Turned out the garage door motor was bad, so Preston was able to replace it immediately. He was polite and professional and got all in working order including the garage door opener in my car! Will definitely call Precision if ever needing garage door work again.

Tyler Combs was prompt and knowledgeable. Very courteous as well as the office staff. The only reason I did not go forward, I am temporarily unable to pay the cost of the repair and/or replacement cost of a new OH door due to having just paid for new siding, fascia, soffit, gutters, etc.

Whoever does the email correspondence and/or sets up the appointments should be honest and forthcoming. I had to ask 3 times how much a diagnosis fee was. 49.95, but was assured the technician does a 25 point inspection so I felt relieved that my money would be earned properly. The owner of this company should ask what model garage door opener i have because the technician arrived, took one look, and stated, oh we cannot get parts for that brand. Then he proceeds to open the door and tell me that it's too heavy, the spring is worn and that i need a new opener. I was upset that he didn't even touch the opener to press a single button. Even if it was a temporary fix, he should have tried to service the machine and get it functional. Instead, he refused and apologized that I wasn't happy with his findings. I said I'm just unhappy with the whole situation. I should have been asked what brand my model is to avoid wasting my time and money if you only carry specific parts. Also, he should have tried to diagnose the actual opener to see for himself what it was doing.

I chose Precision based on their excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed. The receptionist was professional & kind. My appointment was scheduled for the next day, which was much sooner than I expected. The technician fixed my garage door (replacing the control panel) and reprogrammed my remote and car link. He was also very professional and explained everything he did to ensure I understood the issue.

I had a big problem with my garage door on Saturday. Was so surprised to actually get a person to listen and schedule a service call between 12:00 and 2:00. Patrick Stockton called around noon and said he was in West Knoxville and it would take about an hour to reach me. He arrived, quickly diagnosed the issues, explained what needed to be done, gave me the quote, I gave the go ahead and he got the job done. He was very professional and knowledgeable! I highly recommend!!

We needed a new box on the ceiling of the garage. The old one blew. I called on a Monday, and Precision scheduled us for the very next morning. James showed up on time. We had Preston come to our house to look at our garage door and we couldn't have been more pleased. Preston introduced himself to us and was very polite and very thorough. He showed us all the mechanical parts on our door and explained the difference between what we had and what Precision had. We were amazed at the difference. We had Preston remove our springs and other mechanical parts and install Precisions parts. Our garage door opens and closes so smooth and so quietly now, we are amazed at the difference. We are very happy with Preston's work and Precision. We recommend Precision to anyone interested in garage door repair or replacement.

We have had good experiences with Precision previously, so called again regarding a new home to do inspection, maintenance and install key pads. Called at 3:00 and Tyler was there at 4:00!!
