Our garage door kept sticking and making terrible noise. In my opinion, Precision Garage Door never fixes anything. First time out we paid over $600. Second time out they claim it is the trim so they said they cleaned it and should not happen anymore. Next time out same story. Says the sun is making the trim stick (It is January). Now they want $207 to fix. I will be putting notices on our neighborhood facebook to not use these people (427) homes and also on google.

I am very pleased with Precision garage doors! I called them at 8:30 this morning and they were at my house by 1:30. They came at the time scheduled. The technician, Robert, was very polite and professional. He had my door repaired and addressed all my concerns within 45 minutes. I was very pleased with the service provided. This is my second experience with this company and it will not be my last.

I chose your service because you had offices in Maryville where I live. I had as well read some of the reviews which seemed positive toward service satisfaction. My gatage door would not go up and down as it should so when Josh got here he noticed the problem but also noticed that the other garage door had frayed cables that could cause a serious accident. There were unexpected issues that came up during his work but with patience and his knowledge he got both doors fixed perfectly. Excellent work and excellent service. Thank you.

Alex was without question efficient in his performance in the installation of what I thought I initially needed to have serviced. But it went beyond that....he professionally explained that upon his inspection, we needed a full service on our garage door. We felt so sure that Alex had our best interest at heart that we indeed upgraded to the complete service with a lifetime warranty on the installed components and installation. Alex made us comfortable in our purchase and we will soon be ordering a full motor package but only if he installs it. Thank you Precision for hiring such qualified individuals to install and repair problems with same day service. He upsold me but I know it was a necessary expense after he explained the process to me. I will recommend Precision to my friends and family that may find themselves I this same situation. I called Precision after seeing their excellent reviews online for a broken spring on a 16 year old door. They gave me a same day appointment and actually called to say they could do repair 2.5 hours earlier than promised! The service technician, Josh Compton, fully explained that he could just replace the springs (both sides recommended) and provided the cost. He took the time to show me exactly where the other issues were on the door such as wear and tear on bearings, rollers, and cables. Josh was very informative, knowledgeable, and professional and never tried to upsell me on a complete door overhaul. After seeing the deterioration of various parts, I decided to have all components replaced and Josh spent close to two hours overhauling my existing door all the while explaining what he was doing and why along the way. I feel confident that Precision of Knoxville was the right place to call. In addition, their 5 year warranty on the parts and labor just added to my customer satisfaction level.

6 out of 5 Stars - Seriously, Precision Door Service excels in communication from responding to the website inquiry I made, to scheduling a representative and continuing to communicate the scheduled visit. The one difficulty I had, that was minimal was that when I recieved verification of the appointment, it was off by an hour. I replied to the email, but that was not successful. So, I phone first thing during business hours to clarify and it was taken care of. Tom, the representative, arrived early and was kind to phone me so that no one would be concerned about his service truck being there. He was exceptionally kind and very knowledgable of the product. I am not certain I will be able to use your services though due to my particular situation of trying to minimize cost in preparing this house for the market. I really wish I would find an affordable over lay, skin, to apply to my current door, but I now of no one in the area that offers that service. Even though I will not be living in this house, I question the wisdom of installing a metal door in an area that doubles as a basketball court. I must find another option to address my garage door needs. Oh, and might I add that Tom was quick to promote your company when we greeted one another, I told him that I am not used to contractors arriving on time, much less early to an appointment, to which he replied, "But you have never worked with Precision, and we at Precision are known for our punctuality and reliability." Well, I am not certain those were his exact words, but that is pretty close and certainly conveys the intent of his words. Tom has excellent personnel skills, a winsome personality. Again, I want to commend your phone representatives that I have spoken with as well as Tom. All of my communications with them were pleasant and exceeded my expectations. Have a blessed week. Appointment was set between 5pm and 7pm the day after I called to schedule it. I was impressed that they could get to me so quickly. The repairman, Patrick, called when he was 15 minutes away and arrived at 5pm. He was professional and extremely knowledgable and competent. One of my tension springs had broken. I also had a frayed cable but didn't know it until Patrick and I inspected the garage door closely. It would have only lasted a few more lifts, barely hanging on. Glad he caught it! Overall, the garage door is much quieter and smoother. Very happy with the work and took him less than an hour. I have never had as good of an experience with a repairman as I did with Patrick and Precision.

Our garage door and opener had been installed by a house flipping company who did a very poor install job, in fact Josh said it was the worse install job he had seen in a long time and if one of their technicians had done the job they would be fired. Josh fixed all the issues with ease and professionalism. Our garage door and opener now runs smooth, quiet and with ease. Josh was very quick and precise in repairing our door and opener.
