Great people, called and he was on site a couple of hours later. Diagnosed the problem and had a quote ready in around 15 minutes. I liked the quote, said, "ok," and he started work. Had to pretty much take everything down and replaced most of it for a very fair price. Knowledgeable service person, took less than an hour. From the person who answered the phone to the rep that came and fixed things to the owner that did a follow up - A1. Great people.

We were charged $900 for a $200 garage door opener. Not including all the springs and other stuff that supposedly needed to be replaced. We could tell the tech was just looking for things to charge us for. Beware! This was very sketchy and extremely overpriced . We feel taken advantage of!

I went with Precision because the TV commercials struck me as a company and individuals that, not only really knew what they are doing, but also because of the sincerity of the individuals in those commercials. I thought that my only problem with my door not opening was a faulty safety "beam" receiver. When Hunter showed up, on time (he also texted and called me to let me know exactly when he would arrive) he quickly evaluated my door and pointed out that not only was it not up to code with only one coil spring, but also the worn out bearings on the pipe (on which the springs are located) was being cut through by those faulty bearings. Additionally, he said my door was out of balance. I had no idea what that meant until the work was completed. Hunter showed me what he meant; he disconnected the drive chain and the door rose a foot or so by itself. Now it is "balanced". I went with the complete rebuild, everything except the door itself and the Genie opener (motor) assembly. I also added a keypad outside so that I didn't have to carry a remote opener whenever I wanted the door closed as I worked in the yard. I highly recommend Precision for ANY garage door work you need.
