The technician (Preston) was prompt, courteous and professional. He expediently diagnosed and identified the problem, then pointed out to me each of the parts of the door that were broken and needed repair/replacement. Seldom have I had a technician provide such useful information when dealing with a disfunctional mechanical device. He completed the repairs promptly and within the time frame he estimated it would take. Preston was at ease and chatted with me casually as he finished up his work. First rate job, at a fair price by a very professional technician.

I called Precision Door Service when my garage door opener broke. They sent out a repair person within 30 minutes. Derek explained the issues and my options and worked with me to figure out the best approach to resolve the issue. He replaced the old door opener and fixed the other issues I had. He was courteous, and efficient, and I had my problem resolved within a couple hours from start to finish. I highly recommend Precision Door Service.

I found Precision online when our garage door broke. Called them on Saturday morning and they were here by 2:00. Making the appointment was easy. I contacted Precision about my garage door, which wouldn't open. In addition the side door to the garage wouldn't open so I couldn't get access to the garage at all. Derek and Tory(?) came out that day. Initially it seemed I would need to get someone else out first to get the side door open, but Derek figured out how to lift the garage door while using the remote. They diagnosed and fixed all the door issues very quickly and now the door is working smoothly. Almost all the parts needed replacing (an "overhaul") , but I had thought I might need a new door and was relieved that was not the case. Thank you so much.

I was very, very impressed with many aspects of Precision's service. Their phone staff and our technician (James Wells) were fantastic. This was a last minute call on a Saturday. They fit us in with a time window of 6-8pm, and James arrived at 5:30. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was up front about the repair and cost. It was completed in around an hour, and it's never sounded better. However, after doing some research I'm not so sure about the cost. It was hundreds more than almost any estimate I found online for a similar job. The invoice lumped most of the expense together under 'PDS Overhaul', so I don't know the charge for individual parts, labor, etc. There's also a mysterious 'shop fee'. I'm not a big fan of the financial side, but everything else was amazing. Next time I need something, I'll definitely consider Precision - but I'll also be shopping around.
