I highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to anyone in the Knoxville area. My 13-year-old opener was failing and had become unreliable. I decided to replace it rather than repair. I contacted Precision and in less than two hours Josh (technician) arrived. In a little over an hour he had finished installing the new opener, backup battery, remote, and outside keypad, and two remotes. He also showed me how to program the keypad and my car's Homelink remote. His work was very professional and there was no mess to clean up when he finished.

after checking parts cost online I was surprised at the cost I was charged. james wells quoted me $698 for a door rebuild. I agreed thinking the part were expensive. I could have got the parts online for $250. he worked for approx. one hour. if you do a 100% mark up on parts cost, his labor was $198 per hour. I know I agreed but I should at least have a statement showing the cost of the items. the statement he gave me on line shows $00. cost of each item. he did very good work, and was very courteous, a very pleasant person.

Called for a service call and was scheduled for the same day. Technician, Robert showed up at the scheduled time. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I thought I had a broken cable which actually turned out to be a broken spring. Spring was replaced and he verified door was working as expected. When you need a repairman, it always seems to happen during the weekend or a holiday. As my luck would have it, my garage door spring broke on a Saturday afternoon 12/14/2019 and my wife was out Christmas shopping. I called several numbers and was told they were closed. I then called Precision Door and was able to talk with a very nice lady that took my information and said a repairman would be there within a couple of hours. Within 30 minutes I received a call and the repairman was on his way. My door was repaired by Roger and I was very happy with the service and price I received.
