The garage door had quit going up and down automatically. The problem was diagnosed quickly by the technician as a user error (although he was kind enough not to put it quite that way). The lock-out button on the device had been pushed shutting down the electronic opener. The door worked as advertised, the operator just was not very wise.

$600 to replace a broken Spring seems extremely high, even with the new cables and rollers. I appreciate the quick response on the day before Thanksgiving, but I've been told I most likely paid twice as much as I should have. Would also expect a Service Technician to wear a mask to my home in this time of a pandemic, which he did not. The work was done in a timely manner and seems to be of good quality, and I was quoted a price before work was performed, however I felt I was in a no win situation since other repair companies were scheduled out for up to a week and I had to have something done right away.

The second time I have used Precision. They installed a new door and Thom recently replaced my opener for the door. Thom came out on time and completed everything. Precision truly is a very reputable company with a great staff. They go above and beyond. There is no need to call anyone else. I will only use Precision for all my needs.

Precision was able to respond to my request for service the morning I made my request. The serviceman, Chris, was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and competent. I was given a total repair cost before I accepted the repair. Rather than one bundled price, I preferred an estimate broken down by service call, parts, labor and warranty but that's not how the repair was priced.

Chuck The spring on one of my doors broke and Alex and Tracy came to fix it and it works fine after their work. While they know their stuff and did it quickly, Alex was trying hard to convince me to replace the bearings for $540 which I felt, and while their was a little play, my opinion they would still last for quite a while. I declined and he advised because of my not willing to replace the bearings, the warranty on the new spring was void. My door is old, and most likely if something else happens, I may replace the door. I am an engineer myself, handy with tools etc., and have reasonably good judgment on things that need replacing. I feel the spring broke because of over time use picking up a heavy door, and not because of the bearings. I believe the usual warranty should apply to the new spring. Marty Shoffner

So impressed with the service from Precision! I called and they sent a tech out within 2hrs. Patrick, the service tech, called on his way and was 10mins early in the window so no waiting around. Patrick was so professional and quick. He provided three different price point options, and outlined the pros and cons of each. No pushing for a more expensive solution. The work was complete within 3 hours and it works GREAT! I wish we had found Precision a year ago instead of putting band-aids on the problem. Oh...Patrick was super sweet with our puppy too. I was pleased with the service I received from Precision. I had called a couple of other door companies first-one I never heard from, the second called and said they would be out that afternoon and would call when they were on their way. I have yet to hear from them. Precision came after I arrived home from work-so they fit their schedule into mine and did the work in a timely manner. Christian was a nice technican and I can reccomend him and the company.

Had been having an issue with my garage door opening on it's own. Called on Friday evening, prior to closing and was able to get scheduled on Saturday Morning. Alex arrived early and was very professional. Repair wasn't possible, so he had to install a whole new system, which he was able to do that day. Been very happy and amazing how quiet the new system is compared to the old one.
