I chose Precision after reviewing 3 companies in the Knoxville area. They provided me with recommendations and practical information in the quotation process (Tommy). The installers, Jon and Frank, did an excellent job as well and went above and beyond what I expected. My garage doors are super quiet (my last ones were very loud) and we have received so many compliments already. I would use them again and have recommended them to neighbors already! They all were really a pleasure to work with and the process was very smooth.

We called for service mid-morning and got a service appointment for sometime between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. The service man Nick arrived at 1:45 (which was awesome). He introduced himself and inspected the garage door. He was extremely knowledgeable of the product and explained it to us so that we understood how it worked as well! He explained our options and we made a decision and he proceeded with the repairs. Completed the work quickly within an hour. He also check the second garage to confirm that it was working properly. I called for repair of broken spring and estimate on new opener. It was about 11:45 am I told the lady on the phone it was not an emergency and if needed we could wait a couple days. She was very nice and said they would have a tech at our house between 3 - 5 pm.The tech called at about 2:00 pm and said he would arrive around 2:30 he came and replaced both springs all rollers, pulleys, cables, and put a new opener up and was gone by 5:15.

James was the technician who did the work for us. I appreciated that he called about 25 minutes before his arrival to let us know he was on his way. When he arrived, he was the consummate professional...respectful, kind, and knowledgable. We had an older system that, frankly, was not worth repairing. James confirmed this, but did not pressure us into our decision to replace the opener as well as the springs. Once we decided what needed to be done, he went straight to work and did not stop until it was completed...and, he had a great attitude throughout. We are very happy with Precision Door, and especially with James.

We selected Precision because of the excellent service you provided earlier this week to our neighbor who had her garage door repaired. James Wells did the work on our garage door. He was extremely open and informative about the items which needed to be replaced. The builder of this condo complex installed the two stall doors which were serviced by only one spring. Mr. Wells was very efficient and left the work area neat and tidy.

I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate on how much it would cost to replace our old wooden garage doors. James G. called and said he was running ahead of schedule and if I did not mind would come out earlier than my schedule time, which I thought was great. When he arrived he was well dressed and very friendly. He introduced himself and shook my hand. I told him what kind of doors we would like and the color, he never tried to persuade me to buy different doors but instead gave me an estimate on the doors we wanted. He did tell me about an extended lifetime warranty they offered and I made the decision to go with it because it was a good deal. He was up and front with me that if the doors were not in stock it could take up to three weeks to get them in, he also explained about how long it would take to actually install the doors. I was very happy with the price and James G. telling me step by step about the price of the doors and the installation. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.
