Could not have been more pleased with this service. My garage door had partially come off the tracks and looked impossible to fix. Remembered TV ads for Precision Garage Doors. Called around 3 or so to request service. Preston called me back almost immediately and was here in 20 minutes or so. He sized up the situation, gave me the estimate and started to work. Though he had to rebuild the mechanisms, he was finished by 5:30 p.m. Also, I was not left with the possibility of spending the night with a half opened garage door. Preston was knowledgeable and adept in his work. I would definitely recommend and certainly use again if needed. Another plus, is that I now have a less noisy door.

I have been concerned about my garage door since I moved here 4 years ago and decided to call Precision. I am so thankful I did. I got a text that Thomas would be arriving in 30 minutes which was during the time fame I was given and it had his picture and a short profile of him. He went over everything and took care of everything and was so careful to explain everything to me as I am an 80 year old. He was so curious and neat in his work. I really can't tell you how much I was impressed in him and his work. Afterwards he went over everything and set the opener for me in my car and was just a pleasure to meet. Thank you for such a wonderful service and I fully intend to spread the word.

When an issue occurred with the sensors for the opener, I asked my neighbor if he could give a recommendation for a garage door service. He highly recommended Precision and he was absolutely right. From the front office for scheduling to the technician for the work, everything was professional, friendly, courteous, and well done. I was very impressed with Thomas, the technician. He listened attentively to my “story” before doing a thorough assessment. He gave me several different options all the way from a simple quick fix to pro-active longer term upgrades since mine were old, all of which had reasonable pricing. He then set about to complete the work in an efficient, obviously very experienced manner. I am totally satisfied, will definitely use Precision Garage Door Service for any future needs, and highly recommend them to anyone else.

The installer, Chris Pease, let me know well in advance of his arrival by text and phone call. Chris was very friendly and engaging. After he arrived he explained what needed to be repaired (coil spring) on my garage door, which was 10 years old and an original contractor-grade installation. He completed the work in about an hour and now it is working wonderfully. I'm not sure if the price was competitive because I didn't secure multiple estimates before proceeding with the work. But the repair was needed on a Saturday and not many companies listed in my Google search were responding to service calls on the weekend.

My garage doors were over 40 years old and had never been serviced! we have only had the property for 6 years. Hunter replaced the springs, discs, rollers, bottom seal,mounting plates and added a stability beam at the top of the door. The service was done very quickly and professionally. He showed me all of the parts that needed replacing and explained the reason behind the replacement. He even moved the old sensors, so they would not be affected as much by sunlight. The service was done quickly and professionally.

Our Garage Door was rebounding when we attempted to close it. Our technician Peyton quickly diagnosed it was due to a faulty spring which was still under warranty. The replacement was made in less than 30 minutes and the door works great. Peyton also checked the condition of the other door and pointed out some potential issues. We thanked him but decided to do nothing at this time. We were very happy with Peyton's courtesy, knowledge and professionalism.

Pros: Customer service line and the tech were friendly. Response time was good! Cons: Massively overpriced compared to the competition. Tech showed up early before I got home, told my wife that a torsion conversion would run 1,710.00 or that he could do a “full overhaul” for north of 2,000.00. He continued to say that our original Torque based system was an inferior product, that Precision wouldn’t install a replacement, and that I would have a hard time finding anyone to do it this week. This was after I was quoted ~600.00 on the phone. After some back and forth I asked the tech to leave some quotes so that I could shop. Imagine my surprise when I found a competitor, my next call, 10 minutes down the road, willing to install a replacement torque based system for ~500.00 the very next morning (Sunday!). I was so excited by the savings I opted to go for the conversion to torsion and spent 720.00 all in. I showed the tech the quotes I received from Precision for nearly 1,000 dollars more and we had a good laugh about it. Like I said the employees seemed nice enough and I am sure they don’t set pricing, but I get the feeling y’all were trying to rip me off here. Enjoy my 65 bucks!
