My garage door spring broke and I had to wait 2 months to get it fixed due to financial situation. I realized there were other things that I needed fixed but my finances did not permit it. I really felt a lot of pressure to get other things repaired and the quote I received over the phone suddenly went from $225.00 to over $700.00. I was not in a position to do the extra things, I feel it's Ok to assess your repairs, but not ok to pressure people to get it done. I plainly stated when the repairman came that I did not want anything extra done. I felt uncomfortable with the situation. The replacement of my garage door springs was an excellent job and the repairman was very professional and did a good job. Please train your repairmen not to pressure people when they are getting a repair done.

Five Stars for this company. Our overhead door springs broke on a Sunday, trapping both cars inside. I called, expecting we'd have to wait until at least Monday. Very courteous telephone rep offered to send a technician out same day (Sunday) at no extra cost for weekend service. Within a few hours a technician, Tom, showed up and replaced the springs very efficiently at reasonable cost. Thanks for a job well done. Will use them again.

Tech was very informative and quickly took care of the repair. I felt a bit of a hard sell approach to take the most expensive route but came to an agreement and the door works better than ever.

James came early, checked the doors and not only confirmed my fears, but pointed out other issues as well. He did a PDS overhaul on both doors....the works....springs,rollers,bearings,cables,cable drums, all adjustments and lube. At 60 I'm not easily impressed, but the experience in a word was awesome. James not only installed and repaired, he EXPLAINED what was wrong and what effects the wear would have on the other components. Knowledgable,Professional, no grass grew under his feet. To me....the MOST IMPORTANT POINT...is that for the money charged, the VALUE was there. I believe your money will not be wasted with this company with 9/10th of the noise eliminated.

Joe was the technician who did the work on the garage door that would not lower. He diagnosed the problems, safety eyes and then rollers that needed to be replaced. He told me the price before some of the work was done. He was courteous and worked efficiently. Top rate all the way around.

He arrived on time and was very courteous and efficient during the removal of the old Wayne Dalton Torquemaster Plus system and reinstallation of a much better designed and much higher quality spring conversion system . He was very knowledgeable on the products offered by Precision Door Service and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Precision Door Service for the quality of service, the quality of their products, and competitive pricing. When the garage door slammed down after I pulled in the garage last night, I knew I was in trouble. We could see the spring was broken and the door wouldn't open. I immediately started searching and found Precision 24/7... I called at 7:30pm and Patrick was there before 9pm. He was great. Repaired the door and suggested replacement of a couple other pieces. Thanks so much for the rapid response, coming to our home within a few hours of our call. The serviceman was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Rather costly to replace the entire mechanism, but we understood why and are glad to have quality equipment to use. The door opens so smoothly and quietly now. I guess we just had to learn that the builder of our home put in the least expensive equipment he could, which we had to make up for today. In any case, it is nice to know we have quality garage door equipment to depend upon, and we'll appreciate receiving the warranty.
