Our Commitment To Quality

All Precision technicians complete one of the industry's most extensive training programs and are certified to handle repairs to your garage door. Because of this training, few garage door owners ever need to use our warranty. But, it is there and if you do need to use it, all labor and repaired parts on your door system are covered for as long as you own your door.

What Is Covered

Installation of New Garage Doors
For installation of a new garage door, this warranty covers defects in workmanship, for labor furnished by the Precision Door Service Franchisee as part of installing the new garage door. The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the door and its parts. This warranty does NOT cover the door or its parts. The Precision Door Service Franchisee will correct any defective workmanship and, if a part is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, he will repair or replace that defective part, at no charge for labor.

Repairs
For repairs to an existing garage door, this warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts and labor furnished by the Precision Door Service Franchisee as part of the repair. The Precision Door Service Franchisee will repair, or if repair is not possible, he will replace any defective part or workmanship at no charge for materials or labor.

How Long Coverage Lasts

This warranty begins when repairs or any installation are complete. This warranty cannot be transferred. For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty continues for as long as the orignal customer owns the repaired garage door. For a new garage door installation, the labor warranty continues for as long as the manufacturer's warranty continues on the garage door. This warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door.

Partial Service Warranty If this option is selected, the terms are consistent with the terms of the Limited Warranty, but lasting only for a 90-day period beginning on the date of service completion.

What Is Not Covered

If anyone other than the authorized Precision Door Service Franchisee who performed the original service work on any new or repaired part covered by this warranty, then that part and the labor to repair or replace that part is no longer covered by this warranty. For new garage door installations, see the manufacturer's warranty for what is not covered under its warranty.

This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than the authorized Precision Door Serive Franchisee issuing this warranty. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
