Let's face it. We are picky here at Precision, especially when it comes to the parts we use. We'll put our parts up against any other company's in the business. While most industry standard garage door parts are designed to last 1 to 3 years, ours are designed to last a "lifetime". Other garage door companies might save you a little bit of money in the short-term by using standard cycle parts. The problem is that you will spend much more on your door over time. We want to fix your door right the first time. We know if we treat you right and use the best parts available, you will be a life-long customer and will send your friends and family our way.
This is why we guarantee our products with a limited lifetime warranty. No gimmicks. No joke.
A broken spring can run you upwards $150 or more, installed. For that price, you want it to last. Precision Door Service has spent time and money evaluating springs, drums, rollers and cables and will back only a select few. Based on average use, our springs will last you years longer than our competitors and if there is a problem, it's covered under our warranty for as long as you own your home.
All the doors we sell come from the manufacturer with industry standard parts. In many cases, the doors are not built to last and when the parts don't meet our standards, we use ours instead. Typically, standard drums are 8' of lift and when the cable is wound, there is not a lot of room for error. Our 12' lift drums can lift 375 lbs each, totaling 750lbs. Commercial grade drums strong enough to easily lift any residential garage door.
Enough can't be said about the garage door openers and rollers that we use. Our openers are belt driven and are the only ones that meet our high standards. Quiet is an understatement. With our rollers and garage door opener, your garage door will make about as much noise as your ceiling fan. If you have a FROG (finished room over garage), a quiet garage door is even more important.
As always, we appreciate your business.
